m wears skirt by Zara, sweater by Woodford & Co, bag by Chanel, boots by Miu Miu .
This outfit post entails some of my favourite key pieces from my wardrobe;
The cobalt blue pleated skirt is the perfect summer addition . It’s easily paired with a Tshirt or even a knitted sweater in the colder months .
The knitted sweater is Woodford & Co . It was an impulse purchase 5 years ago and sat in my wardrobe, tags still attached, for the first 2 years . I love to wear it cropped with high waisted skirts . The bow tie detail on the front just completes it .
The Chanel Bag . I think the name alone is justifiable . Should you do your research, you may discover a little more about the civil rights in which this label stands for . one of the many reasons this label is a favourite .
And the glitter booties . A treasure in my wardrobe that will maintain its longevity .

I spent 3 full days in Rome with the intention of sight seeing . No actually that’s a lie, I wanted to shop! I did attempt sight seeing, but I became bored and irritable at the exhausting heat that consumed Rome…and my make up!
After visiting the main attractions i.e. the colosseum, we detoured to the Via Condotti . Basically this is heaven for shopping; Chanel, Dior, Louboutin, YSL, Prada, Miu Miu and anything you could want in an arms reach – half of which is almost inaccessible or limited in Australia . I ended the day with a few more YSL rings, a large Louis Vuitton ‘never full’ bag and cosmetic case .
Despite my lack of interest at the time for the historical monuments around me Rome is a beautiful city . I’d love to go back and explore it more, actually walking in to the colosseum this time . And of course some more shopping wouldn’t hurt…besides you can never have enough YSL . or Louis . or Chanel . or maybe anything haha .

I felt like I was back at uni again, studying for an exam that would determine my career . Now that I am 150% certain that a career in fashion is something I am determined to exceed in and something that I’m passionate about, this interview became the most important 30 minutes of my life .
After a whole day at work, studying and preparing more to then talking to myself and practicing my answers and how I would structure my sentences, I was finally there . 30 nerve racking minutes . Though I thought I did rather well I had to wait till 9:30am the next day for the result .
In the mean time my boy took me to dinner at a Polish restaurant in Surry Hills for our one month 🙂 was nice to relax and let my hair out .
To conclude my post, I GOT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Orientation in 2 weeks, will keep you posted 😀

I was 19 years old when I first laid eyes on a red vintage Chanel bag and immediately fell in love . Sure I had been exposed to them earlier however I never actually cared, I only ever associated these premier labels with pretentious attitudes….this time however I wanted to discover the history behind it all and develop a true appreciation for them . I then spent every spare moment on the Chanel website browsing bags, accessories, shoes and then researching the genius behind it all, Gabrielle aka Coco Chanel . As sad as it may sound I’d just die at the sight of this bag . I eventually purchased a pair of ballet flats, yet still longed for the bag . After 4 years of drooling over this bag a found myself in the Rome store with the intention to purchase gumboots . I decided to ask how much the Classic Jumbo was…3400 euros she replied . In comparison to the $5690 price tag in Australia that was already tempting…but the thought of carrying this treasure everywhere over Europe made me hesitant . She asked if I wanted to look at the bag, even though I’d spent 4 years looking over every intricate detail of this bag I thought yeah why not! As I picked up the bag and glanced at it in the mirror i fell in love all over again . I placed the bag back on the counter and was about to walk away when the shop assistant reached for the bag…I immediately put my hand back on the bag and firmly said “I’ll take it” . I spent the rest of the day shaking with adrenalin .
this photo was taken post purchase as evident by the Chanel bag and giant grin on my face!
Strangely enough I now no longer possess the want or need for another one…I’m more focused on collecting Vintage YSL .
Talia wears skirt by something else, top by mink pink, shoes by Prada, bag by Chanel, arty ring by YSL, necklace by House of Harlow .
I love this outfit . My favourite are the prada shoes . I first spotted them in Vogue during Rosemount Autralian Fashion Week 2011 . After purchasing my Chanel only a few days before I was walking around Venice with my sister and told her to not let me buy anything else as I had already spent a substantial amount on the jumbo . Then we stumbled in to prada and there they were . The last pair left anywhere . So I bought the black and convinced my sister to buy the tan . Winning!
Big thank you to Talia and Zoe for being our models for the day and braving the cold throughout various wardrobe changes and sometimes wearing nothing but fur!
